Well, we had a cracking time in the ‘Emerald’ Isle last week. The first PHIL LYNOTT ART EXHIBITION, at Arklow, Co.Wiklow, was a triumph of a success!! A huge ‘hats off’ to the incredible dedication and hards work of Colm Weadick, who organised this stunning show. He spent every waking hour for god knows how long organising what we think was the first ever PHIL LYNOTT exhibition in the world!
Guest of honour was the ever amazing Philomena Lynott (see my pics!) who by the end of the weekend was officialy crowned as my second mum..I love this lady! Anyone who knows, or has met her, will agree, she is a star in her own right and a friend for life. Philomena opened the show officially on the Saturday, and it was an honour to be invited as a guest artist at what was an emotional and wonderful event.
My three original canvasses ‘Military Man’,'Kings Call’ & ‘Renegade’, all gained some incredible comments, and my good friend Linzi Wright, who’s pencil artwork of Phil was just awesome, was the big seller on the night, where the original sold for a stonking 4500e..way to go Linz!
